Julia and I wanted to take a moment to thank you for looking at our page and helping through prayer, giving, or simply sharing our story.
A note from Dave:
Julia and I feel so blessed to have met so many wonderful friends on this journey. If you are struggling with infertility or failure to carry, please consider adoption and foster care. We have all listened to the poor, but well-intentioned advice and consoling words of our friends:
“Just stop thinking about having a baby. It will happen when you relax.”
“I had a friend once who tried Clomid. Have you done that?”
“I’m so sorry you miscarried again! I have a friend at work whose cousin just miscarried. I know exactly how you feel!”
“We got pregnant, but we weren’t even trying to! We would never intentionally hurt you. It was an accident!”
The advice will most likely never get better, but Julia and I have decided that loving a child in need is more important than having a dream pregnancy and a biological child. We are still praying that the Lord will bless us with a baby, but we are excited to open our arms to a little one in need.

Ladies,
I have been so blessed by other women who personally understand infertility and miscarriage and have reached out to me in my darkest hours. Please message me if I can be of any help to you. We have been so overwhelmed by the goodness of God through some very difficult times. We trust His leading, and while we will never forget our angel babies, we are looking ahead to what we can accomplish for Him through the lives of children who need us.
